Full Moon Mid Autumn Festival in Chengdu

 In Travel

Mid-Autumn Festival in Chinese – 中秋節 is held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar with full moon at night. Gathering, such as family and friends coming together, or harvesting crops for the festival. It’s said the moon is the brightest and roundest on this day which means family reunion. I grabbed the Nikon D810 again, and mounted the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 200-500 mm f/5.6E ED VR, and mono pod. The moon was high in the night sky, and I have no tripod. So, the mono pod was difficult to use. Out of 110 shots, only a handful were clear enough to use. A tripod would be a big improvement.

ISO: 200, 480 mm, f/5.6, 1/400 sec.
