Half Moon Over Chengdu
It was Sunday night, just hanging around the apartment here in Chengdu. After watering some plants outside, I saw the moon shining bright in the evening sky. So, I grabbed the Nikon D810, and mounted the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 200-500 mm f/5.6E ED VR, and mono pod. Sat off the back balcony by my sons room. Snapped away. The first few shots were washed-out on matrix metering. So, I switched to spot metering and focused on the moon only. These came out great! All shots were zoomed to 500 mm, but the D810 did most the work with its 36 MP body. This give me the best results, even cropped so much in post-processing. Love this camera!
